Wenzhou Medical University
Introduction
Wenzhou Medical University （WMU） is a key construction university of Zhejiang Province . It can trace its origin to the former Zhejiang Special Medical School established in 1912. In 2014, it was shortlisted as the co-constructed university by Ministry of Education, National Health and Family Planning Commission and Zhejiang Provincial Government. WMU started its five–year undergraduate program in 1958 and master’s program in 1978, among the first institutions in China authorized to confer master’s degree. Wenzhou Medical University embraces internationalization in the course of its development. It has established partnerships with more than 80 universities and institutions all over the world, collaborating in scholar/student exchanges, joint education programs, joint research, etc. Two Confucius Institutes have been co-established with Burapha University in Thailand and SUNY College of Optometry respectively.

Graduate requirement
- Applicants for master’s degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
- Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
Documents
- Application Form for International Postgraduate Students（filled in Chinese or in English）. Do not fill in the form with a pen, except for the signature.
- Notarized copy of highest academic degree certificate or graduation diploma and transcription. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
- Photocopy of the applicant's passport.
- Recommendation letters: Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
- Resume.
- Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form .
